Dallas Tester

Dallas Tester is the Vice President, Engineering, Foresight Diagnostics. He’ll be leading the engineering teams responsible for bioinformatics algorithms, data processing and analysis systems, lab operations tooling, and internally-developed software. Dallas has deep experience and a broad background in software engineering. Most recently, he was a co-founder and CTO of a startup focused on ML-based recommender systems. Prior to founding the startup, Dallas was Head of Engineering for LIMS, Bioinformatics Pipelines, and Engineering Excellence at Invitae where he greatly reduced cloud infrastructure costs, standardized the software development lifecycle, and incubated the digital health platform. During his time at Twitch (a subsidiary of Amazon), Dallas defined and launched Twitch’s API product, increased adoption of the API by 50% year-over-year, and scaled it to 250,000 requests per second. He defined the vision for Gusto Embedded, scaled the platform team at Guild Education, and was part of the incubation team for HoloLens at Microsoft. Dallas received his BS in Computer Science at East Tennessee State University.
